OI4 Knowledge Camp: Establishing legal proof of data validity

In March 2023 Cryptar was honored to present “Establishing legal proof for data validity” during the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance Knowledge Camp.

In this presentation, Cryptar discussed the current lack of legal security when it comes to critical data and explores different approaches to establishing proof of data validity, including digital signatures, private blockchains, digital identity and SSI, public smart contracts, and timestamping. The presentation also looks at the challenges of adopting blockchain technology and proposes an approach with Cryptar to combine the best practices of the different worlds and scale digital trust. An example is provided to illustrate how this approach works.
